I’m really struggling to connect with the characters and the plot of this story. I do feel as though I’m stuck on an island. lol

These are in the first 3 chapters. I’m drawn in!

Story is moving very slow.

I’ve laughed out load a few times and don’t want to put it down. “We live only as long as someone remembers us.”

Very annoyed with Mia and Cameron!

My library loan expired so I’m going to pass on finishing this one.

I’m just not getting into to this. I may come back to it.

Slow going as I keep re-reading several passages. “Adults often think that self-confidence is something a child learns, but little kids are by their nature always invincible, it’s self-doubt that needs to be taught.”

Finally available at the online library for me to pick back up to read.

Ok I actually started this a few weeks ago and tried to connect with again yesterday. I’m putting it on hold again. Not sure if I’ll come back to it.

I had started this one, put it on pause and just picked it back up in honor of Women's History month.

Slow going for me. Just not connecting to the characters, but will keep reading.

Darn it...my online library book expired when I was maybe about halfway through it. I renewed it but there are 4 requests ahead of me. I guess that's what happens when you juggle reading 3-4 books at a time. Will have to finish it later.

I'm decluttering my to read shelf. Lol. It's been on my shelf since 2019, from Amazon First Read. Today I'm going to determine if I'll finish reading it or remove it.

Sex, drugs, rock & roll, more sex and drugs...did I mention sex & drugs? In between there are some neat stories about how each of the band members got started in music, sessions played with other famous bands and musicians, how they came together as a band and then all hell broke loose. They've done some crazy things!

I just finished Day 1,324 of My Captivity. This is moving sooo slow, but I'm hanging on to find out what happens to Marcellus, the octopus.

Annoyed with characters Laure and Iris but then the story finally grabs my attention at chapter 39.

Starting off slow. Hoping it will turn around. "The universe always leads you to exactly where you're meant to be, for though it may be endless, there is a place in it for each and every one of us."

This author’s writing is outstanding.

I’m going to set this one aside. Not liking the repetitive details.

I’m reading this as a filler between books. Not impressed with the writing.
