Oh Lord, yeah. This isn't healthy for me to read. But I mean, really?! Poor freaking Evan. Isaac "loved" him, but the first thoughts he has when Evan leaves is well, I always knew it was gonna happen. Deacon is who I'm supposed to be with anyway. I mean Jesus, can it get any more clear that Evan absolutely deserves better?

Ugh, I'm having a hard time. I LOVE August Jones writing, like so freaking much. She brings the characters to actual life, in a way not many authors can do. However, I have a tough time with MMM...and this is giving me flashbacks of The Director (which is also her only book I really don't love). I am feeling for Evan a lot like I felt for Vince in that book. And I wanted Vince to leave the other 2 the whole book.

No women have been born in 100's of years but somehow there are wives and babies being born and you can't date outside the brethren?? Huh

So, this has me completely hooked but screw this man. I want Sage to leave and find somebody else who isn't in love with someone else. I can't see my mind changing about that...

I am liking this so much more than the first one! But the end of chapter 27 made me audibly cheer!

Ugh, this is definitely rough to read. So stinking sad for Xed. But I'm at the part where it gets explained why Matt leaves...and I still don't forgive him. It wasn't a good enough reason.

During Finding Delaware I had a hard time forgiving Taylor. But I don't remember hating him like I do Matt in this. I honestly can't see myself ever wanting him and Xed to be together. I really, really want Xed to leave and literally never speak to him again. I don't care about Vals stupid threats....Matt is a spineless asshole.

Geeze. This is FEEDING my angst loving heart. It's nothing but pain lol. I don't see how I'm gonna end up liking Matthew though. Sweet baby Xed deserves so much better!!!!

I literally hate Jasper now. I don't see him being redeemed for me. That's how much I can't stand him

Ugh, this is so good so far. I really wish August Jones had a backlist of like 200 books that I could read!! I have read all the MM ones and was anxiously waiting for this one..it's not disappointing so far!

Geeze, no wonder I DNF'd this the first time. Jasper is literally insufferable!! Self pity drives me absolutely insane. I'm gonna stick it out, because the audio is great and CP Harris generally somehow makes me end up liking the books lol

Unfortunately I DNF'd around 60%. I loved the novella but this just got so absolutely boring. The intense love they feel for each other makes no sense since they barely even knew each other. Even the spice in this wasn't enough to make me stay like it was in the novella. Maybe I'll try again another time, who knows.
