😭😭😭 It should be illegal to write as well as Baldwin does.

I like the premise but feel there are so many holes that should've been addressed by now (they monitor in person chats but not on the phone?) and little confusing things (her foster brother is referred to as a friend which confused me). I'm still reading on because the writing is good and plot is compelling, but I wanted to jot this down for the final review.

I really hated the last book I read by Sager. However... I see this author everywhere. So let's give them a second try.

I am 18 pages in and this author has used the phrase "all but _____" four times. This phrase is a personal pet peeve of mine... If he doesn't stop using it so often I might DNF this

Pro tip: DO NOT get the audiobook. I'm going to power through, but half the cast sounds like variations of Kermit the Frog. Lol

You know when you start a book and you can just feel the two star review incoming? That's about where I'm at.

I'm going to take a pause now. This one is simply taking too much of my energy to read right now.

I... Want to finish this but it's so hard. So I think I'm going to read whatever I read today, then put it on hold until I get the audiobook from the library.
