Kinda meh. It really feels like a man wrote this, which explains why the horror of parental love turning monstrous falls flatter than you’d hope. Picked it up because the premise seemed to have a lot of potential but it was just a lot of basic gore, man vs. woman in the respective empirical evidence vs. religious miracle, and then the immediate cheating on wives with teenagers in the wake of tragedy. Of course.
