Tough read, but then again I wouldn't have expected anything less. The points of view are quite interesting, I wouldn't have thought about including one of them.

I'm a bit puzzled by this book. Some of the story lines seem to end early (though I'm sure there's more to it), it mixes everyday stuff with magical stuff, etc. And the setting... I don't really care for it that much. The writing is really good though, but I don't expect this to be enough to elevate it to 4 or 5 stars. Still a lot to go though, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm done with this. 13% of the book and you can't get a full description of the intrigue? I'll watch a documentary if I want to see just exposition... 😛

Oh, the fun of religious people thinking that their fanatics would not hurt them! It's pretty sad to read this, though entirely plausible.
