I’m not sure if I can finish this. This is annoyingly unrealistic and the characters are on my nerves!

I’m 80% in and I’m so irritated at the stupidity of the main character!!!! I want to knock her out!

Tired of all if the “programming” ? Over having the cancelled generation’s issues shoved own your throat? Don’t read this! Even before and without these agendas, the book is more painful than what I find worthwhile. I’ll try to finish…

So far, not so good… 35% through and I’m not engaged. I dislike the characters and I’m bored.

There’s just not a whole lot to this book. Where’s the real meat if the story? The writing is beautiful and there is a love story that VERY slowly develops but it lacks any other real substance. I may read the second book simply because I want to like the story! Who doesn’t want to enjoy a pirate book?!

I can't believe how much I am enjoying this book... I heard Tom is going to die but I don't want it to happen! I keep hoping it isn't going to happen yet!

Kinda bothersome that the demon possession is portrayed so accurately. It's just one part but a concern none the less.

The writer's view of the supernatural is not the same as mine but I'm liking this book :)

After suffering through the first book and being a glutton for punishment (I have high hopes for improvement since I like the premise), I want to know what the 2nd book has to offer but figure that I'll have to do other things while finding out. So.... Audio-book it is....
