I’m… struggling with this one. The synopsis doesn’t do much to prepare the reader for what’s to come. So far, it has been a very domestic story about unsatisfying marriages and life after sexual assault. I’m curious to see what comes next, but this has not been the fun summer read that I was hoping for.
