plot twist was weird but okay

they done killed my bitch 😭
—victor frankenstein, probably

“your form so divinely wrought, and beaming with beauty” victor being gay asf about henry clerval for the umpteenth time. istg if i had a nickel for every henry i’ve read who had a homoerotic relationships w the mc 🤦🏻‍♀️ i love it tho. keep em coming 💫

bingley running out of the room after proposing to jane and being walked in on by elizabeth. ridiculous, ridiculous man.

eight chapters to go. free me already 😩

austenian sideplots drag sm man

it’s so damn funny that everyone is hypervigilant about the fact that darcy is into elizabeth every time they’re in the same room 😭

‘Their eyes instantly met, and the cheeks of both were overspread with the deepest blush.’

darcy writing a tell-all letter at eight in the morning and then lurking around the park with that envelope in hopes of running into elizabeth... dude can somewhat handle a rejection but draws the line at someone having a severely misinformed opinion of himself lmfao

creon's wannabe alpha misogyny makes me want to strangle him, or worse.

i love this guard sassing creon. he’s so unserious.

antigone’s pain at not being able to bury her brother in the first scene makes me emotional

caroline bingley tryna play 4D chess but elizabeth has been on her ass since day one

mr collins try not to mention lady catherine de bourgh in every conversation challenge: impossible

elizabeth’s description of getting second-hand embarrassment from mary’s singing is hilarious. even 200 years ago, emotions were felt the same.

i like bingley and darcy’s friendship. very golden retriever and black cat coded haha

what excellent boiled potatoes! lol i recognised this scene.

i hate the way austen’s characters speak. it gives me vertigo.
