Really enjoying this so far..

Used this in my degree. Very good.

Not great really. Not the story just the way it was written

Dry in parts

Quite in depth in parts, i wondered how someone could get all the information but alas Joe Klein did. Not a bad book, Woody Guthrie had an interesting life, his attitude to life fully explored.

Excellent in my opinion. Few parts i felt were out of sync, and some parts i felt waffled on, but overall the story was great. Development of character and how the story is told is very clever. Moving from narrator to first person works very well. Always unfolding layers of different stories, keeps one engaged. This is a sequel, the first the name of the wind is also very good and should be read first.

Interesting. I listened on audio book and the narrator was especially good. Rupert Degas.

Starting to pick up

Struggling to keep interested if im honest. Lots of descriptions, and not much else. Maybe it'll pick up

Aye, it is what it is. Just that bit of light entertainment.

A suitable sequel, very much enjoyed, very long but this is a good thing, has lovely surprises but the satisfaction you need is fulfilled. Roll on Nov 17 for the third book in the series.

It's, certainly of an age, and as warner bros cartoons say, to remove the language used would be like denying it ever happened. But it's somewhat okay, tho my ignorance of some of the content meant i wasn't quite sure what way was up at some points.
