oh, my goodness. 2 pages in and i'm in love with the prose. that's really not a surprise though - i already knew i loved peterson's writing. gonna shelve this for now until i get my own copy

i was really liking this at the beginning, but i think i've hit a wall. i just cannot get into this :(

i'm somewhere around the half way mark and it is just draaagging. i'm not sure what happened but after devouring the first half of this book, now my interest is suddenly seriously waning :(

almost nothing freaks me out more than dolls so this was an obvious pick for my "spooky" october reads :-)

really liking this one so far! humphrey sort of just throws the reader into a situation and forces you to play catch up. often this annoys me in books, but here it's done quite well

almost dnf'd this at 14% bc the protagonist was so annoying and because of how racist this book is... i'm sticking with it but idk what to think lol

so my bff is finally reading this series, and now i'm putting everything on hold to read try and somewhat this along with her VERY EXCITED

not super into this so far (characters like jack do nothing for me in the love interest sense) but i love bex. less boring love story and more bex pursuing a medical illustrator career!

at this point i'm skimming more than actually reading

i got distracted with reading homestuck again, and my copy of this book expired before i remembered to renew it! so this will have to go on hold until i can borrow it again >:(

I am really, really enjoying this. Lots to relate to, but Kinsella's prose is light enough that I can still enjoy myself and not dip too low into the whole relate-then-spiral cycle.

This book is weird as heck, but it's the kind of weird that pulls you along (at least in my case). The breaking of the 4th wall is a bit awkward and off-putting, but other than that, I am loving the unreliable narration.

I borrowed this from the library on a whim. I have just finished the first two chapters and absolutely adore it! Will be ordering this for my book collection and finish reading it then. :)
