Well… she’s a great musician and songwriter, but she can’t narrate her own story to save her life. She’s so monotone and just reading instead of telling, and nothing she has said has caught my attention enough that I keep zoning out... I may not finish this one.

Oof. This has taken weeks to push through. Setting it down for now.

I have so many feelings about this book. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions, as I have had my own experience with the animation industry, and so many stories of Bluth’s hit hard. As a book, I rate this 5 stars. He’s a fantastic storyteller and absolutely held my attention like a vice the entire time. But boy am I wrecked.
