Really? Shitty Gaelic? Seriously? It's not so mysterious if you understand what they're saying. Plus the pronunciation of the audiobook narrator is horrendous. I absolutely HATE the usage of Celtic languages as some sort of magical mystery component. If you really want to use it, please put some work into it....

Still absolutely fantastic but my brain is full of information after just one chapter, which is why it takes me ages to finish this...

Unsure why I am reading this. All characters from SJM books are interchangable, the world-building is all over the placeall, the sex scene descriptions are entirely the same. If I have to read "his considerable size" one more time, I'm going to put something on fire. Also terribly binary and animalistic. Geeeeeeez.

I love the Celtic content (well done) but I just hate the sexism / misogyny found in urban fantasy. Of couuuuurse all the ladies are SO sexy and they all just wanna get into bed with the violent and sometimes rude protagonist. Sure, sure. Ugh.

Delightfully creepy queer Arctic horror so far. (Rode my bike to university, great audiobook so far and very entertaining!)
