I just want this to be over.

This book is trying so hard to copy the humour of Sex Education, but it’s painfully unfunny so far.

Ich habe mit dem Lesen angefangen bevor ich von den Anschuldigungen gegen den Autor erfahren habe und würde mit meinem jetzigen Wissen auf keinen Fall dazu raten, das Buch zu kaufen (zumindest nicht bevor der Sachverhalt eindeutig geklärt ist).
Glücklicherweise habe ich ein Rezensionsexemplar erhalten, so bekommt Mounk von mir wenigstens kein Geld mehr.

This book sounded interesting, but so far it’s terrible.
