Facebook has been AGGRESSIVELY marketing this to me. When the claim was made that this book is “Harry Potter meets Five Nights at Freddy’s”, I knew what I had to do.

An enjoyable read so far but I have some bones to pick...

Perfect for if you watched Haunting of Hill House on Netflix and when you got through it, you were like, "MORE."

My God. I was just thinking earlier about how glad I was that I'd finally finished this book. Then I couldn't remember how it ended, which was kind of weird... apparently I'm still reading this thing. Wow.

I was today years old when I learned “bury the lead” is actually “bury the lede.”

Also, I spy with my little eye, a line from the Clue movie. Delivered by Mustard in both the movie and the book...Was this on purpose; will there be others? Stay tuned!

Omg, this audiobook has me hating children. They're all runnin' around whining about stupid stuff like wanting juice and I just want to grab them and yell, "WE GOT BIGGER PROBLEMS HERE, KID!!!!"

Things are happening. Love how this series just flies by. It's so good that I never find myself counting pages--I'm just along for the ride.

Every book should be this good.

There's a surprising amount of iconic fairytale mentions in these.

I'm suspecting that Scott and I want different things out of this book. I want to find out more about the lore, I think he just wants to scare me.

So far: a tale of two sisters trying to talk and being interrupted at every possible turn. Relatable.

This dude's so strapped for content, there's chapter about him going out on a date WITH HIMSELF
