So far a total snooze fest. This is going to send me into a reading slump.
To continue or not to continue? That is the question.
It’s real cute so far. It’s also incredibly boring. I think I’d be more entertained reading the drivers manual for a book I don’t even know.
Jo is pretty iconic though.

The more I read the more I hate it.
I’m just so annoyed. Miss girl got r*p*d(?) and is fine with it?
Also in what world would an intelligent person represent their husband after being accused of murder?
Also if my husband is caught between a rock and a hard place, pleading guilty=20 yrs in prison w no possibility of parole and pleading guilty=death penalty I’m telling my husband to choose life.

I’m on page 112 and I feel like it’s Anne.
Also losing my mind. Not that I’ve been to law school but that is not even remotely close to how you do a closing statement. The best defense lawyer in DC yea ok

Lots of name dropping, couldn’t be bothered to look up everyone that was mentioned, but beautifully written.
Do yourself a favor and read anything written by Patti Smith within this lifetime.

Two 6 star reads back to back!!

Tears were shed from the very first chapter and into the last page.
A book that will be loved and cherished and reread for many years on my shelf.
Making my boyfriend read this immediately.
