I actually didn't finish this; I just couldn't get into it enough to want to continue reading.

I didn't actually finish it. I just couldn't do it. I read the book because one of my favorite authors was compared to this author. I could see the similarities but it wasn't enough. It moved too slow and the it was too scattered to keep me interested.

SO hard to finish. I've invested so much time to this story so I dont want to just give up.

I'm reading The Lord of the Rings at the same time (over 1000 pages), so progress is a little slow with such long books.

I'm in the middle of the second book, The Two Towers. Interesting difference of the book from the movie.

Holy in depth book. It certainly is mote than a story of an adulterous woman. I'm actually more inerested in the other story line in it has.

This book has lots of layers in it.

This is a much better book than I thought it was going to be. I'm looking forward to the second one.
