I dunno why I do this to myself like my heart is aching and I can tell it is going to get so so so much worse

The book is finally picking up and even though I think it was made for a younger audience in mind I still feel both intrigued and touched by it

I am loving this story for what it is now and it is truly amazing

So far this reads more like a romance novel than a historical one and I don’t know how I feel about that

I feel like there should be a genre of books that are sooo wattpadish but i mean it as the highest compliment.

I am soooo happy but so sad at the same time, i love Roz and Vin so so much

Fredrik Backman has this insane talent of making you care about a very random side character in few pages and have your heart ripped out by their story in even fewer ones

See I knew that person was pure evil the second I read about them and I could even guess 3 of the things they did BUT THIS TOO?? and now I am forced to read from his POV??

Everyone is soooo unlikeable yet so interesting to read about

This had deff just made it to my list of THE 3 worst second hand embarrassments i have ever experienced while reading a book

This one’s pace is FANTASTIC compared to to the first book in the series and the characters are just SOOO charming

This book is exactly why I am in love with books and literature

If all the micro-aggression and also the blatant racism wasn’t enough now I have yo sit through the opium wars and witness its cruelty and ugliness of it all

I have never seen anyone portray academia in a more accurate way

Griffin has got to be one of the most interesting characters I have ever read about

I've been dog-earing nearly every other page and fighting the overwhelming urge to underline and highlight the entire book.

I am loving this book way too much
