A pitch perfect homage to fandom and friendship. The depth of character Siddell crams into under 300 pages of graphic novel is unprecedented — and Gonzalez’s uproariously funny chibi asides clinches this one into a 2024 (or perhaps all time???) favorite. READ IT IMO!!!

Miyazaki is SO grumpy I love it.

I literally laughed and cried while reading this book. So good!

5 stars for the comics, but all the essays at the end really irked me personally. A lotta dick riding and frantically trying to angle what are some pretty racist comics as “progressive, actually!!!” It’s ok y’all, it’s an old comic that cartoonists can learn technique from but is also hella racist, it’s not that deep

I am COMPLETELY ENGROSSED

This feels like a book from another time period and I love it.
