I wish that men who have no books / no genres in common with me would stop adding me on here, expecting flirting or something. Other social media is annoying for this tendency, and now here?

New decision: No more ARC reviews of independent novels, unless I already know the authors work.

I'm particular about wanting things in novels like: Lack of bland exposition, individuated character building, at least a bit of prose, no insta-love, and plots without holes the size of Jupiter.

I like my plot-holes and cheese-fests when I watch Lifetime movies; not when I read novels.

I keep rereading certain passages and taking pics of them for social media. This is big stuff, and great stuff. It might take a while for me to finish since this is a rare out of print book that I was only able to get a home-made e-book copy of on ebay. The print is very small and there is no way I can find to make it bigger even on Kindle. However, this is so worth it!

This is gorgeous and a big deal! I need time to really delve into this and other books, but will definitely finish this!
