Entertaining book about looking into the genetic ancestry of the Isles, interspersed with some history of the field, some history of the regions, and a story of scientific inquiry, the last of which is now sadly out of date.

Fun book of mostly trivia. Some of the contents would be really useful if running a Dr Who game, like the list of planets visited or list of Tardis hardware found in the control room, and how reliable it is. Other items, like how the early daleks were constructed, are amusing. And things like the list of people who acted in both Dr Who and in British soaps are basically filler.
