It wasn’t the book I expected, but it made sense since it’s written by a comedian. Once I looked beyond the humor, I caught a glimpse of the extraordinary life of a woman navigating a male-dominated industry while tackling and advocating for difficult issues. She is not only using her voice but also embracing her womanhood. I think it was the mom jokes that made the realization click for me.
