I read in The Guardian that Florida banned this book, so of course I had to read it. Another kids book, but sometimes it’s nice to read a quick story.

So far, it isn't what i expected.

It’s as good as I remember and still one of my top favorites.

We haven’t read in a while because my five year old said he didn’t like the book because it was too old. 😩

I’m not sure where this is going and I am losing interest

Too much mention of the pandemic and tattoo taboos. I didn’t honk tattoos were the problem this book makes them out to be. Either that, or I need a better description of how tattooed the main character is.

I think I know who was murdered. Or maybe I just hope it is the least likable character in the book.

I had to return it to the library before I finished it. ☹️

I am really enjoying the perspective but the hashtags throw me. Fortunately, they don’t happen often. Makes me feel old and crotchety. 😂

The chapters are laid out really well.

I am barely into this book and it already frustrates me. There are no section breaks, so the main character goes from one task to another, only to figure out the scene has moved on. It also uses large, uncommon words for common things, so I am constantly using the dictionary. May abort reading.
