i was not a fan of this book when i first read it but i also went into it completely blind. since then i have ventured into the capri ao3 tag to have a better idea of where this book is headed. still don’t quite know what to make of the everything yet though 😭

thinking about how burdock everdeen tried to train katniss to be a career tribute….thinking about how he gave her the tools to survive so that his girls would have a fighting chance…thinking about burdock watching the 50th games & watching what haymitch, maysilee, wyatt, and louella went through so he tried so hard to prepare his girls just in case…oh suzanne collins you make me sick 😭

sotr movie comes out in november so yes i do in fact have to reread the books AND rewatch all the movies.

dnf the last time i tried to read this,,,hoping that i’ll enjoy the audiobook better 😬

yup i can safely say bully romance is not the trope for me 💀 just going to push through since i have only a 100 some pages left

low expectations for this since i typically avoid bully romances but 🤷🏼‍♀️ it’s only 180 pages
