This book has a lore overview + summary of the previous book at the beginning! And a list of definitions for all the fantasy jargon and names + how to pronounce them!! Which is exactly what I was missing from the first book!!! I feel so much more caught up now !!!!

ngl reading in the train every day has been so soothing. still don’t fuck with the commute though but this book is lovely. i also like that it’s not all cozy and there is an overarching plot line 🫶🏻
