I’m so sorry this book and trilogy are over. Absolutely fantastic.

It. Never. Ends. There’s so little left and I think it will end when she complains herself to death. There’s no other way out.

Don’t read it. Don’t waste an audiobook credit. I want my time back, but I have come this far. 8 hours that I progressively warped up to 1.8x to make it go faster and somehow it still. Is. Going.

I love when authors read their autobiography, and this is the best of the best. Tyler’s story of growth and on being a Black, theater-loving, banana-hating man in America is captivating. His way of telling his story is perfection.

I am one hour into this audio book. If this is on your list, please please get the audiobook! Any time a memoir is narrated by the author, I’m already intrigued. Merritt is a born storyteller.

A small passage for every day of the year!

This is a great read for middle schoolers, to better understand the struggle of a refugee and see the impact one person can make.

I was going to sleep, but I think I'll just stay up and read until I'm done. I'll be fine.

The author can get on my nerves, but after applying her method to my clothes (the first step in her method) I have seven bags of clothes, shoes, and handbags to donate and one well-organized dresser to hold everything but a few coats and dresses.
