Been enjoying this series but not even two chapters into this one I'm starting to get rather irritated at Crais's overuse of the phrase "do you see?"

It was one thing when the main character repeatedly used it in previous books, now already three different people have uttered it in a chapter and a half. Just shoddy writing...

"You're a very special kind of weird"

"of course I am. There's only one of me"
