I'm kind of sad I already know the story. Crichton is a good writer, even though I know what's going to happen, I want to continue reading. 

(I only hate that women are introduced by first names and men by last names, and that men are surprised that a woman can do a certain job, or they're staring at her legs, inappropriately commenting on her appearance, etc. That's an issue with all Michael Crichton's books.)

Funny. Also a great reminder that lack of recognition doesn't mean you suck, just that you need to try in a different way (and have fun along the way). 

Bijzonder matig geschreven met een vreselijk irritante hoofdpersoon en een hoop tegenstrijdigheden.

Eindelijk wordt het een klein beetje interessant, na alle pseudo-intellectuele betekenisloze over the top 'poëtische' zinnen en non-existente world-building.

Vraag me nog steeds af waarom dit boek zo'n hype is.
