3.5 - Ali is one of my favorite authors. Her books are perfect but this one just had too many things I could not get on board with. The plot was so clear from the first scene which made all the miscommunication so much more painful. Also, the cartoon villain Tom was way over the top, but again I knew the recording was still on so I was just waiting for how it will come to play. She is getting so much better with time
