I love this cheeky little story. Since Neil Gaiman narrates it himself, it’s even more fun to listen to the audiobook. The random (albeit brief) sex scene in chapter 1 is always a jump scare. This is NOT a kid’s fairytale lol. (I believe Neil Gaiman said himself that when he set out to write this story, he wanted to create a fairytale for adults)

Hard to stomach sometimes (especially all the major accidents and injuries, and the mind games too)

It is pretty fascinating look into the process of someone’s (Tara’s) mind beginning to change and edit their perception of the world

I’m utterly appalled by so many things that have transpired in this family

I’ve missed this book! Excited to get back into it. Life is still so crazy busy but I wanna chip away at it bit by bit

Started the audiobook and I can already tell this is going to be a wild ride

You’re telling me Andy Weir didn’t write the main character AS Ryan Gosling?? It’s literally Ryan Gosling… the sense of humor couldn’t be more spot on. Stellar casting
