How amazing to read about the wonderful discovery of Tiktaalik, our beloved fishapod, done by the author, and that in a very readable way! Can't wait for him to go deeper into the science of it all.

Last night I read the very disturbing chapter of Scott, a 45 year old, getting excited over his chubby 16 year old babysitter, who he watches naked and has a several month long obsession with. My question: why is this in the book? And the next chapter he falls in love with a "midget" woman. So far I cannot rate this book higher than 3 stars

Last night i read the very disturbing chapter of Scott, a 45 year old, getting excited over his chubby 16 year old babysitter who he watches naked and has quite an obsession with for a few months. Why is this necessary in the book? If so far the book was 5 stars, it definitely gets a star less because of this chapter (and it wasnt a 5 star read to begin with). The next chapter he meets a "midget" woman .. oh god.

I finally feel like the trilogy is coming together completly. I knew since the start that the fool and Fitz were important, together, and now that it has finally been confirmed, and given some reason for it and a goal, makes me feel alot better about the story. I do wish for a happy ending for Fitz, but most of all for the six duchies and the mountain kingdom. They deserve better. A honest and good leader. And saving

I must say I am disappointed that 200 pages building up to kill Regal ended in one chapter without triumph and Fitz completely giving up his quest and moving along to Verity instead. I also hope for a good explanation on why Verity hasn't made any progress with the elderlings after a year, and when he and Fitz skill, he speaks nothing about it. Is he even trying anymore or?

What an adorable little book. Sometimes difficult to imagine these animals having homes etcetera, and I was quite surprised with mr toad buying a car vehicle. Also, in my head the cart they traveled was small but then, having the horse pull it, also, how can a mole keep up with the pace of a horse? Oh well im probably over thinking this haha.

I came here for what I am reading, and was so expecting it. yet reading it hits me worse than I would have thought.. I don't like how we even use crazy people in our vocabulary, yet I still use it myself, and too in my writing, so I guess I cannot get mad at her, as she had similar and worse experiences as/ than me.

Some chapters I find to be written very well and then there are chapters that are just boring and seemingly having no point in being there. I like Sylvia's writing style and it is fitting for the story but I much prefer a .. less quick paced story perhaps.. [story, not style. A story has to have a fitting style]

It stated on the back that war was coming but I wasn't ready when it did. I realise how quickly I grew to the characters (the athshean Selver and 'yumen' Lyubov). I fear for their lives though.. all of em.

When starting the Word for World is forest, I didnt immediatly realise the scifi aspect of it: they are not on earth, and the creechies are these green ape humans. I feel dumb. And excited, though the language is very different from what I have been readin this last month so needs some time getting used to. Love the scenery etc though! And the fantastical (yes, actually scifi) aspect of it, was not expecting that!

Bless Jay Kristoffs wits and ability to create an entire society out of nothing. I am convinced if Itreya and its economy and political structure. An inspiration.

Jesus Corvere, how on earth did you get in all this shit? And fack Ashlinn and Oz. They have no right for what they did, even if it is avenging their father. I am mourning for dear Tricky boy, I thought their relationship could become something...the only thing I care about now is Mia and Cassius.

Jesus, Mia fooling everyone even took me by surprise. And the 'breakup' between her and tric saddens me, but its was has to happen anyway

I'm officially invested in Mia Corvere's mortal life and in her relationships with the people around her.
