This book is so terrible. The h started out being amazing and turned out to be such a ho, terrible.

So far pretty good

Definitely not one of my favorite JL books

So far, I don’t love this at all. The h is a lying whining DOORMAT. I have decided that I THOUGHT I disliked bold strong conniving h’s, I prefer that kind of brat to this doormat version.

Love this series but as much as I love Mickey and I have since the first book, he is NO Jake Spears. If you don’t recognize that name read the first book! It’s 5 stars!

Re read. Really liked this book!

Very different from anything I have ever read, but VERY intriguing. Two languages and a little to keep up in what was being said, But I am catching up! Ha ha

50% thru chapter 9
The H does not even enter the book till 50% of the book, and the first 50% is more or less about domestic violence. It feels like a self help book! Not a fan so far.

I am not enjoying this book at all so far. I hope I finish it. The h is so fearful of sleeping with her kind handsome husband that she is wanting to kill honor herself. It’s all too much and so ridiculous. I hope it turns a corner soon. Real soon. I am only on chapter 6

I am not enjoying these two narrators to the extent I don’t even know if I can continue. It’s kinda cheesy too. Not the authors best.

I really loved this book. It had a different twist to the whole “Robin Hood” theme. But delightful for sure.

two real complaints 1.) they have way to many constant characters, to the point I feel I need to draw out some kind of family trees in order to keep up.
2.) we have a bonfire of antagonism going on and the H and h have not even got together yet so no doubt that is going to last for a long time, I am definitely the type that a little goes a long way, then I just start wanting to slap people. Ha ha

I am having trouble wanting to finish this book. It’s mundane.

Ok so it might not have been quite 5 stars but it was very close and I decided to round up!! I loved the emotion in this book and it brought back to life several characters from the previous books. I have enjoyed the ones I have read, though I do believe this is my favorite so far. Marcus….. well he is amazing and I really enjoyed Penny as well. Plot 8(1-10) steaminess 9(1-10).

This was a very good book. My only complaint was that the intimate scenes where so evasive your didn’t know exactly when it happened and then it was just over. It left you wondering “what happened!”
Was definitely worthy of the read.

Ohh how I am struggling with this book. My favorite character just got killed and I am barely a third of the way in. Virginia Henley books are emotionally draining to read😩😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It’s ok there had not really been a major even or climax it’s just a story that’s kinda bumbled along. It’s just kinda dragging out at this point. This author can for sure write the steak though it’s been a 9 (1-10) so there is that to recommend it😂😂😂😂

I am just wanting this book to be over. I am not enjoying it all. I am listening to an audiobook and the guy sounds like a young girl. This book is very overrated so far.
