So far this is disappointing.

Loving this book! An arranged marriage with some bite!

I'm on the second novel now. What sucks is that I'll be credited for reading one book on my 2020 challenge when I will have read three!!! This series has a lot of sex. I'm impressed that Penelope Sky is able to add a little something different every time these two go at it. As an author, I know that's difficult to pull off!

This thing is a hoot! Sexy, too!

Starting off gang busters!

Not as engaging as I'd hoped. Could be the narrator on the audio version that's bugging me. The heroine seems too young and innocent to be in the escort business.

This woman is a delightfully skilled writer!

It is dark and the heroine is totally brainwashed. The anti-hero (he's not her master, but someone who gets to "have" her for a few months) is an interesting character. Her "master" is totally gross. This book cover is gruesome, isn't it? Ugh.

There are echos of Fifty Shades in this. The hero and heroine remind me often of Christian and Anna. He is a rich playboy, but he hasn't shown the professional ambition that Christian had. She is shy and doesn't realize how lovely she is -- like Anna. I'm listening to it on audible and it's wonderful how they include the piano pieces mentioned in the book. The narrators are good, too.

Well done! No "instalust" here and I like that. Author takes her time with the characters and their budding relationship.

This is thoroughly enjoyable! Charming. The author knows her craft. Every sentence is a jewel. I'm listening to it and the narrator is superb.

Good beginning. I like the way L.H. Cosway introduces her characters and allows us time to get to know them a little and care about them before she throws sex into the mix. She's a good writer and loves to tell a good story. I don't usually like show business tales, but this one is interesting so far.

I'm listening to this one. Good narrator, but I'm not hooked yet. That doesn't bode well. I should be into the book . . . . captivated . . . by now.

I started listening to the audible version of this one and it's a hoot! The narrators both have distinctive voices. I think I'm going to like this one. It's different and I'm in the mood for something that surprises me.

Not new titles, but new to me. I'm not invested as much because they are similar to what I'm writing. Of course, mine are better. :-)
