I don't want to stop reading but I have work tmr 😭😭😭

such a visceral description of love... it is so beautifully insane

already hooked. wish I could stay up all night reading it

will and tessa... perfect bed time story! can't wait to read more

HATE that mila always calls people boss.

the introduction makes me want to sink my teeth into these short stories!

loved learning a bit more about the broader context and history of vampires throughout the centuries and why they decided to have people write these ya vampire short stories

literally nothing has happened in this book. no conflict, no character development, no tension whatsoever

i hate this nepo baby, rich kid shit.

"I'm learning a lot at my aunt's pr firm"

YOU WERE HIRED BC YOU WERE RELATED TO HER EVEN THOUGH YOU HAD NO EXPERIENCE AND YOU THINK YOU CAN HEAD A WHOLE NEW VENTURE?! wtf

I HATE when people aren't consulted about their own dates and decisions. only con of this fmc

such an awkward conversation. it's too self aware

hate that she has a thing with her boss tbh

"of course you can have a true shadowhunter name," will said. "you can have mine."

"wherever we are, we are as one." SOBBING

"she is my priority!" will shouted.

"he wanted to run to her, wrap her in his arms. protect her.

but it was jem's place to do those things, not his. not his."

dream sex... really?? so so so unnecessary

unnecessary and bizarre sex scene! I hate it 😑

so much is happening off the page that I just feel tossed around from action scene to action scene. such a disappointment from the prior book, but maybe it's bc she didn't have the back drop of Mulan to guide her story

this is like when Bella kept on doing reckless things in New Moon when Edward was gone

"you could walk over me, sybil delling. throw me down until I am dust. i don't know what to call it, but I want it. i want you."

"the thing is- I think I'd do anything you ask of me."

"are you still in pain?"
he shivered. "near you? always"

"oh, bartholomew. he's dreamy."
