I kept thinking , and even saying out loud “It would be SO COOL” - and it was!! Doesn’t matter that I guessed it, it was still too cool of a revelation.

… I hate this book.
(I don’t but you know what I mean)

1.1x audiobook speed on character development.
1.6x on everything else. It’s not worth it honestly.

Fictional*** crazy people.

What can I say? I am addicted to crazy people.

Me, to me, out loud: “I would die to know what Hilo is wearing right now.”

It’s not like I didn’t know this book will absolutely destroy me…

I mean COME ON 💔

Why is this book so negative and depressing??

I am reading two books at the same time and I don’t know which one is making me more anxious.
In a good, thrilling way, but still - anxious.

Isn’t escaping real life politics to read about the fake fantasy politics just the best escapism? 😊
(I am 100% serious.)

I am often put off a story because of plot inconsistencies, like, how did you derive that conclusion, exactly? And why did this happen now, after liking 1.6 books??

I’m sorry, but I’m still cracking up at the main antagonist being named SIMON.

Either I am too used to uncommon fantasy names, or this author took first 20 most popular English names from the 1800s and named the first 20 characters Tom, Will, James, Elizabeth, Simon…
Also there are literally 30 characters introduced in the first 1h, like what? In my head they are “British boy 1”, “British boy 2”…

Me, literally 2 minutes into the audiobook: “this is going to be wild.”
