I’m putting this book away for now. It’s makes me feel awful to do this to my favorite author, but this is my second attempt.

The narrator, for me, is like nails on a chalkboard when it comes to her accents.

I do like the main character and I’m rooting for her, but I miss the historical fiction KQ so cleverly and engagingly writes.
