Like the first book only worse. This woman is already in love with this orc and when he shows up again after an long absence she's engaged to a bad guy but blah blah blah "I'll be a real lady,I missed you and you didn't tell me where you were, even though now I know what happened and I'm still love you I must marry the bad man for my mom and dead dad" oh boohoo, so many lame excuses makes me hate this woman.

So far this is boring. Pages and pages of nothing new. That battle at in the beginning was a good start. Sex without love. Fire and destruction we basically just hear about secondhand. A mystery enemy that feels like the same from the last book. Yuck. I really do feel the lack of enthusiasm for life that Derek has. I hope things get interesting soon.

Disappointed. I'm over half way through and nothing beside we are cavity inducing sweetly in love has happened. Yeah, these book have a lot of fluff but this is all bun and zero burger. Where's the beef?

End of chapter 4, I can't stand Liselle. I have started and stopped so many time and this story had barely begun.

Just finished The Resurrection of Sam Sloan

finished Lion Eyes, Blood Flame, and Tempted by Fire. I think I'm going to skip Her Sinful Angel. I don't usually like Angel and Devil or Heaven and Hell stuff. So I'm skipping it.

Finally all the characters are in the same time period. That helps some. But now Cara turned into one of those people that is afraid to love because bad things might happen. She might lose him and she would be crushed. Grr bad things might? Well if you don't take a chance, Sugar, you have already lost.

All the switching between the past and the present is making me lose interest. I kept leaving this book for something else every time changes. I'm never on one place long enough for me to care what happens next.

So far this story is engaging and fascinating. I like the tension of battle wills, the unknown, the sexual tension, the curiosity of who Tamyrm is and who her family is and who these people are and the internal stuggle. Described in my words it sounds too, but it is delightful.

Finished Lion Eyes. 3 almost 4 stars I will probably look up this series and try it.

oh I remember I loved that this book started out in "The North Country". I used to live up there. The snow really does get this bad.

I read this book more than 2 years ago. I wanted something wih werewolf and I come across the next in the series on my to read list but needed to reread this to refresh my memory

I made it through chapter 16. I don't think I'm in the right mood for damaged girl with daddy issues behaving like a bratty bitch to protect her emotions right now. I'm going to shelf this for now.

I just finished chapter 5 of the 2nd book. Although it is better, much better than the first book, I really should have given that one 1 star, it isn't good either. Silver is irritatingly annoying. Dean is interesting so I will keep reading. I just hope the author keeps building his character not just demonstrate his "bedroom" skills.

I think I lost interest. 76% and I still don't understand what or who the villain is. It isn't mysterious enough for me to keep wondering and the love interest part is too weak for me care how or if they get together. The friend/roommate dynamic isn't enough to take my interest either. I don't like these characters enough. I don't even dislike them enough.

Finshed The Healing Tree, I was surprised that I liked it. I was burt out on Christian romance good character,s not too preachy I gave it 4 stars
