I’m starting the audiobook and KU read along and I am just in awe of this cover. 🥰

Well... this is losing my interest. There are parts that are dragging and have no significance.

So what if I turn into a swan?
That doesn't make me cursed. It just makes me different. And different is good.

My whole life, I thought that I was wrong or broken, just because I was different. But that was just me comparing myself against everyone else, listening to what other people said. Growing up, I always heard the Rotbarts were bad, but they're kind and good.
I heard the Montroses were good, but it turns out their king is the worst. It made me realize that ideas are just that-ideas.

Bite-Size Books Bookmark Challenge here I come!

Nothing creeps me out more than creepy little children. I'm using Hoopla for audio and KU for the book. The author shows the drawings as the little kid makes them. MMM... OH HEEEELLLLLL NAH! Its creeping me out!!

Around 48% it started to get very interesting to me. Now I want to know how this is going to end.

My only complaint is that the size of the fonts is so small.

Story 10: "The Monster Maker" Two competitive boys, that are monster makers, compete to make the best monster until one of them gets a model that brings their monster to life. Now the monster is the monster maker.

Story 9: "The Hole in the Ground" What started off as a joke from the neighbor kids digging a hole and telling monster stories became a real thing. However, now no one will believe him.

Story 8: "The Bad Side" Imagine having your inner baddie come out for real? Only to cause mayhem

Story 7: "How to Change Your Life" If you find a self-help book with words to cast a spell to change your life... run... RUN AWAY! How the heck can you morph into a dog and don't remember how to read or at least remember what you just said minutes before? Silly rabbit! Tricks are for kids???

Story 6: "Bugs" Eww. I was dreading this story. I grinch like hate bugs. The fact that it ended up that the kid was not real and just a character in a horror movie is a nightmare in itself. Bugs spewing out of a pinata is my new fear now.

Story 5: "The Boy Who Heard Screams" Wow this one is super creepy. Stuck in a time loop and knowing the hearing that you heard was your own screams.

Story 4" The Ghost in the Car" The body swap of the ghostly kind. Miller was right about the ghost in the car and now his friend Paul IS the ghost in the car.
