Painfully boring, but trying to power through. I’m not for the rich genius male trope, the boys have basic personas and no one would find them special if they weren’t 🤑. The author tries very hard to make them aloof prodigy types with great achievements and being rich as happenstance, but would they have success sans wealth/nepotism? NO. It’s tell not show character work, so not impressed sadly.

Trying to get over my reading slump with this one, great start, can definitely see how it’s an earlier writing stage for Weir, because his writing style I think improved with his later works

The original Hoffman story illustrated by Sendak is perfect, I love the ballet and it was very interesting to read from the inspiration.

Closing this chapter of spooky season reads with the icon himself, mind blowing and absolutely mad, can’t wait to pick this up again to finish the other stores
