I love that this book about what is often considered woman’s work is by a man.

I keep finding the descriptor ‘grotesque’ in reviews of books by women, along with dark and sometimes disgusting. There’s an undercurrent in these reviews that seems more about how our society views women’s bodies, natural processes, and thoughts. I don’t know. Maybe I’m reading too much into it.

A swirling cloud informative and intriguing research about the future of cultured meat aka Vegan meat. I am seeing it from so many angels. I had vaguely noticed the emergence of lab grown meat. This in-depth work from Jenny Kleeman opens many new pathways of thought.
