Good introductory commentary. Hits major theological issues and skims the surface of some of the periphery ones. Easy to read along with devotional times.

Such a great treatment of the gospel! He says the goal of the book is to “preach the gospel to yourself” and he does a great job aiding in that. Each chapter covers a different facet of salvation (sin, justification, adoption, etc.). This was one of our staff’s favorite development books. I will revisit it often!
