So far equally well-written and enthralling!

“It’s hard to spend such a long time thinking you’re…Homer…and discover you were…Captain Ahab all the time.”

Quentin knows exactly wtf he’s talking about. When he breaks down these movies and how they affected society (and vice-versa), there’s no doubt that he’s a master of his craft.

I’m really loving the pacing of this. It’s not a “slow boil” at all. The temperature is rising at the perfect rate as we get to spend time with these characters. I’m emotionally invested in just about all of them. Great set-up.

Pretttyyyyy, prettyyyyyyy, prettyy good!

I enjoyed the very beginning the most, the backstory. I finally get to what is supposed to be the good stuff, and ironically, that’s what I find to be the least magical. I have virtually no desire to finish.

Couldn’t bring myself to care enough about Fairytale to pick up where I left off, so giving this one its fair shake instead.
