This is, in my opinion, a book of short stories wound into one long one. Without the 'family tree' at the beginning of the book it really would have been very difficult to 'join the
dots'. Therefore if you are reading on a Kindle or ereader, it is recommended you
take a screenshot, download or print acopy of the family tree before you get to the second chapter! Otherwise interesting intertwining of of families.
