Rereading via audio. If the physical book had me kicking my feet giddy at the yearning, the audio has me basically doing the can can. Utter perfection.

This is different than any other romance heavy book I've read and I don't hate it. But I have also hit the miscommunication point (annoyed face)

Look. All I know is that this couple is so stinking cute. Also Samantha Brentmoor can do no wrong. I love her narration always.

I'm enjoying this, but I wonder if (for me personally) setting up the mmc as the villain went too hard? I'm unsure how I'll get back on their side just because he's been fairly callous and cocky so far. I mean that is the point.. so we will see.

Truly a haunted house story!

I'm not as big of a fan of the Frenchman as I need to be for this book. However, I will say I am enjoying the backstory content.

Allie Shante writes characters that make you feel. You love them, you root for them, you get your heart broken by or for them. This one is no different in that regard. You'll want to pick this up!

Just read this part of the synopsis and laughing too much...

This reads like monster romance but make it contemporary and it's honestly really fun!

I'm LOVING this so far.

Definitely has echoes (or what's pre echoes? since it came before) of Blood of Hercules story with multiple mmc that will probably end up as love interests and a fmc that comes from a poor background but her blood reveals she's something special. For me this one isn't hitting as hard. It's a lot of description about physicality but I'm just not interested in the relationships so far?

This is fine? I'm a bit disappointed I think because things moved too fast. It's insta love or insta connection at least. I haven't been able to care about the characters as much as I wanted to. The problem for me is my inability to suspend my belief for this one and the fact that the fmc doesn't really have friends (that's a personal annoyance of mine).

Night at the Museum meets Kate and Leopold with a sprinkle of toy story?

It's giving Witcher vibes but slightly different. Like if Witcher focused more on how gone for Ynnefer Geralt is. :)

I get why people like graphic audio. It's so immersive with all the background noises. The dragons are obviously my favorite part and they shine even brighter with this ....adaptation? version?
