In my copy, pp. 251 to 282 were inserted twice.

I love the way Betteredge finds solace and all wisdom in "Robinson Carusoe."

Reading Wilkie Collins' "The Moonstone," Sgt. Cuff says, "If you look about you (which most people won't do)...you will see that the nature of a man's taste is, most times, as opposite as possible from the nature of a man's business."

Seemed right to reread this. Still as good as I first thought. Everyone be safe.
