Just came to this:
“Doubt means spiritual relocation is happening. It’s God’s way of saying, ‘Time to move on.’”

This is pretty much this book in a nutshell. Enns doesn’t acknowledge any other possible sources or data and pushes his own narrative. Couldn’t doubt also be from, say, the exact opposite of God? Couldn’t it just be from unfounded neuroses? He won’t mention these, of course.

I do hope he’s building to something good here. So far this book makes Satan beam with delight.

This book isn’t very good so far. He’s kind of all over the place, and his goal seems more to incite and poke than to actually help anyone learn anything.

I expected this going into the book, and I truly am reading with an open mind. But there isn’t much of value here yet. He still has time to get to it - mostly because I’m cheap and bought this book instead of borrowing it. Gotta get my money’s worth!

Won’t ever finish this either, as such
