Rereading a favourite, and this time listening to it alongside my husband for his first foray into the joys of middle grade!

Oh this book...headed into the final part, and I'm in such a daze. It's just incredible.

Did a re-listen of the entire series so that I could get to this one, and I am not sorry. Let's go!

At this rate, the people in line for the book after me won't have long to wait...

Finally got the loan back, and now I'm flying through it! So intriguing!

Down to a 6-week wait. Sigh.

And so my brilliant theory is smashed to pieces.

Ah. I see I may have to revise my page-25 theory of what happened. Shame, it would have been a good one. Let's see!

12 weeks wait!!!! Siiiigh.

Libby loan expires today and there are a gazillion people in line after me. Sigh. Guess this is now another of my semi-permanent "currently reading" books.

The deal: Listened to this series as a buddy listen with the hubby. Powered through books 1 and 2 (mind blown!), and started book 3 on the way back from holiday. Trip was too short, and we ended up listening to only a bit of it, and never could make the time to finish it together.

So here I am.

Just finished relisten of the first two (mind blown again, because bad memory!), and so so ready to see what happens!!

Re-listen, given that the road trip buddy listen with the husband failed and we didn't end up ever finishing the final book. I'm not complaining, though - I get to do this all over again, and I get to find out how it all ends this time.

All I remember about this book is that I did not like the main character, and that it wrenched me out of my post-American Gods bliss in an unpleasant way. Giving it another try in audiobook format now that I've reread American Gods the same way, and so far, it's a massive improvement.

Reread of an all-time favourite, this time in the form of the full-cast 10th anniversary audiobook.

What the heck?! Ten minutes in, and I've realised that the elements of the premise for All Of Us Villians that were not taken from The Hunger Games were actually just taken from this??

How do these people ever sleep if rings and jars and the AIR are constantly glowing??

Not my usual fare, and although I was mildly intrigued by all the hype (and I did actually enjoy Evelyn Hugo a fair bit), I wasn't actually planning on ever reading this. BUT if the universe conspires to leave a copy of a vaguely interesting book in my AirBnb, who am I to deny it?

I had no idea that the book starts a day before Halloween, which is today. Pretty fun coincidence!
