Seth is 20% done with KL: A History of the Nazi Concentration Camps
Just finished Ch.3 and the war is about to begin. Focus shifting away from political prisoners and “undesirables” to Jews as the majority Nazi target for camps. Interesting to see the ramp up of anti Semitism after the Paris murder. Just an interesting set of events happen after the KLs were starting to slow down, a shooting by a Jew just occurs. Would Kristallnacht have happened if not?

Week 4 reading done. Talked about nic 1 and his reforms and reform regression. Russian intellectuals and nobles came into conflict. Too many people became educated through their education reforms, the government felt and now these serfs could form their own ideas. However most circles were mainly made up of nobles.
