Approaching this with trepidation - I’m a bit worried about reading the disturbing parts… but this was on my TBR for a while….

Can’t find the quote section on goodreads, but…

“They… they promoted me!” (From Assistant to Apprentice) Is exactly the type of crazy I enjoy from the book.

Ugh… book 1 was so funny. Whimsical, crazy, silly. It was the lighthearted kind of nightmarish-fairy-tale. As I wrote in my review of book 1, I picked up the book as it sort of made me think of me and my boss (“Assistant to the Boss”).

But now book 2 there’s much…. Romance wannabe elements it’s turned into a bore. Fanfiction type of shipping? It’s really making me feel like giving up the book……

Read an ok-interesting book but alas there is no ISBN and so I can’t add it to the database here.

First thought:
(Paraphrasing) He ordered scrambled eggs (for 2), bacon for girlfriend, vegan sausage for him.

Then later girlfriend comments “maybe they have a vegan doughnut for you.”

Ok? So he’s vegan? But the eggs?????????

(Yes I totally focus on the wrong tangent lol sorry)

Hm………. I haven’t got much to say about this installment, sorry!
The battle seemed overly easy this time around, even though supposedly it should have been a higher-ranked demon… but… yeah.
