This is just adequate reading. Interesting little short stories to pass the time when you just want a little bit to read between stops. This is NOT the best selling author that everyone thinks it is. Not sure how he can publish with this name and not get into some type of issue.

I will not continue this book. I find it unbearably boring.

Okay, I have to stop. This book is boring me beyond belief. I made it to Chapter 19 only because I endured reading the equivalent of feeling like I was slogging through a field of thick mud. Ugh, how is this book considered a popular read? I certainly won't rush to see the film any time soon.

I just started this, but should have done so quite awhile ago.

I wish more people had read this book prior to the elections. Even if they didnt vote for him, it might help them realize that there are more than two choices and that there are many solutions to the challenges our country faces... not just the mainstream or the perceived comfortable choices. The system is broken. Johnson helps to explain why, while offering up solutions not heard by the biopoly.

I don't know what to make of this. I find myself skipping past the descriptive sex scenes. Unnecessary to the plot of the book. If I wanted to read detail like that I would read Penthouse magazine.

I doing this one as an audio book. It is read by Johnny Depp. Odd, though. Depp sometimes reads in his own voice; sometimes he reads in a twisted Brit style that is supposed to sound like Richards (I presume?). Can't help but think I'm listening to Jack Sparrow tell a tale of being a rock and roll star sometimes.
