Hoping for some Kingfisher magic to break my 2 month long reading slump!

I really like that Anja is talking about all of the poisonous items that were used as a part of the daily life in that period in glasses and cosmetics, etc.

Not my usual genre, so a little terrified already. But it's T Kingfisher so it's a must read.

All of the amazing news of the entire book to give such an obvious last chapter twist, whole there was foreshadowing I was hoping against hope it wouldn't be this obvious a twist or one that I have seen so often just to continue a series.

Very disappointed.

I love the twists! This is turning out to be quite unexpected!

It's been so long it feels like I'm reading it for the first time..
